This ambitious record tells a satirical and politically charged story set in an alternate America, blending genres such as indie rock, folk, ska, and psychedelia. The album showcases the band's signature eclecticism and sharp wit through intricate storytelling and diverse musical arrangements. Camper Van Beethoven formed in California during the 1980s and quickly became known for their genre-defying sound and clever lyrics. Their earlier successes include cult classics like "Take the Skinheads Bowling" and influential albums such as "Key Lime Pie." Vanguard Records, established in 1950, has a rich history of supporting innovative artists across various genres'from folk legends to contemporary acts'making it a fitting home for this creative project. | | | No. of tracks: |
